Narrative Networks, Social Identity and Complexity in Collection Action
Gregory gave a National Science Foundation supported talk
for the HarambeeNet
a gathering of educators using social network modeling and analysis hosted by Duke
University's Department of Computer Science. The talk focused on the relationship between
social identity and the core narrative of emergent groups, emphasizing the complex dynamics
that make this narrative itself emergent and discussing the role of social network
modeling in monitoring and the design of possible means to influence collective action.
